A Poem Titled Watch Me Bite These Bars

November 25, 2019

Watch Me Bite These Bars

What would you like to see

Have I already not done enough

Would you like me to eat sixteen bars

And eat them up

Use my teeth and claws

To gnaw at metal captivating you

Would you like to see me eat sixteen bars

Because you failed to notice something too

Have I already not done enough

Can you not comprehend the singing and clapping of hands

Ironing clothes, what do you not understand

Would you like me to eat sixteen bars

Have you fought for not understanding why one couldn’t claw thru

Watch me bite these bars

What did you not understand

Here in the literate society with buildings and walls

No words while building a tribe or a clan

Watch me bite these bars

I hope you understand
