I have learned to amend my goals even when I am hardcore about sticking to them. Mostly because of mediated society. There might be something in my goal that is "moving to quickly" or not going hard enough or missing the point-- or carries a little bit of someone speaking to me the day I set the goal in a way that caters to their version of me that I am not aware of. There is still something hilarious about learning that there are people who are in the middle of committing crimes, attempting or planning and want to get caught and look like a bad guy the way we have seen on TV. This might make them do something repetitively until they get the script right. They also might keep trying to make it to the scene where they walk out of the courtroom with their head down, not realizing that they will not make it to that scene. Here is to amending a goal, NOW.
